What does "Decoding Error: NoCoordBeforeCoord" mean?

Question
We can see an error message in InkViewer. What does "Decoding Error: NoCoordBeforeCoord" mean? The strokes were recorded correctly.

Answer
This is normal behaviour - it occurs when the pen fails to decode the coordinate just when starting the stroke. This usually occurs if, i.e. the paper quality is bad at that specific spot; the lighting conditions may have changed between the previous and present stroke.

This functionality is present in order to detect whether a pen has a camera problem or whether the print/paper quality is not good.
