penDirector does not recognise a pen after Windows upgrade

After installing a Windows upgrade, neither LP2 nor DP-201 pens were recognised by penDirector.
The solution was to manually start the 'Anoto Pen Access Framework windows service', then restart penDirector.

It seemed that some part of the Windows upgrade caused the Anoto Pen Access Framework windows service to stop and because this service is used by other Anoto applications, it is not touched during the uninstall or re-install of penDirector. Hence uninstalling and re-installing penDirector did not solve the problem.

We have to just manually restart the Anoto Pen Access Framework windows service and then stop and restart penDirector.
