Windows SDK - What triggers penNotification event in ?

Does the penNotification event occur only when pen ticks Send to PC pidget?

Answer
There are many sync pidgets, not only "Send to PC pidget", most of them could trigger the penNotification event. If the pen is configured for 'seamless get' mode, the pen also could send this event after a specified size of strokes is reached (buffer).

There could be more than synchronization penNotification events.

For example:

  • event that is sent when memory usage reaches threshold
    •
  • event that is sent when pen enters pidget area
  • others
