ALF - I get "Connectivity currently unavailable"

Question
When I try to connect to my server from the router, I get a message "Connectivity currently unavailable". What could cause this problem?

Answer
There could be an issue with the connection to your system, check your internet connection. 
It can also be an issue with your address. If you don't have a valid SSL certificate, you must use http instead of https which is set by default in the address field.
