Unique versus copied Anoto pattern

Question
What is unique and copied Anoto pattern?

Answer
The Anoto pattern can be used in two different ways in a paper product, copied or unique pattern. For copied pattern each page has the exact same layout and pattern, for unique pattern the layout is the same but the pattern is unique for each printed page.
For copied pattern there are specific requirements on how the user works with the paper products to make it possible to an application to distinguish data from one form to another. The preferred method to use the pattern depends on the user scenario and/or the paper process (offset or digital printing).
