Which printer profile to use

Question
How do I know which printer profile, “Laser” or “Laser (limited colors)”, I shall use when printing on a laser printer?

Answer
It depends on what printer you are using for your printouts. For qualified printers you should always use the printer profile provided by the manufacturer.

Some printers make approximations to ease up printing and therefore do not follow the CMYK settings to be set by our FDT software and replaces some of the colors with black. This can make the pen lose samples, or not be able to read coordinates at all. The Limited colors alternative solves this problem and it means the graphics are printed with a color limitation. If you are not sure that your printer makes color approximations, test and see which setting gives the best result after rendering the strokes.
