Pidget Notifications

The Pen Access Framework responds to the user writing in a 'pidget area' on the paper. When a pen detects a stroke within one of these areas it attempts to connect to its paired mobile device via Bluetooth. On successful connection, the Pen Access Framework provides a callback to indicate the connection was established and a callback with the notification is received.

If the notification received is from a ‘Send’ pidget, the Pen Access Framework will request the stroke data from the pen and provide callbacks on the current progress of the data transfer. Once complete, the Pen Access Framework requests that the data be deleted from the pen. The transferred data is available to the client app to process, store or upload to their back-end service.
