Adding graphics to the pattern

Is it possible to print pictures or other graphical object upon the pattern?

Answer
Yes, but to avoid the colors in these pictures interfering with the dots, it’s important that they are processed correctly. For offset print, the pattern color ‘black’ is separated into a specific plate and other graphics black should use ‘Anoto substitute black’. For digital print the images (background layout) colors are managed by our print and pattern tools (such as the Paper SDK) in a process called ‘color separation’. Here black in images and other graphics, except the pattern, are being replaced by an alternative “black” (usually a mix of other colors).
