Cleaning my digital pen

Is it possible to clean the digital pen using alcohol based detergent wipes?

Answer
We recommend that the digital pen is cleaned with a soft, dry cloth only.

We have reports from customers who clean the pen (except the lens/camera window) on a regular basis using mild alcohol-based detergent wipes, without seeing reduced functionality or appearance. However, in the long term the pen coating will probably be damaged by the alcohol.

Note:

• It is of the utmost importance that the camera lens window doesn't come in contact with alcohol, soap or other chemicals as it can damage the pen permanently.
• The pen is not liquid proof, soaking the pen with fluid will destroy it.
• Damage caused by cleaning the pen using chemicals are not covered by warranty; you clean the pen at your own risk.
