Whilst writing with my digital pen the pen vibrated for about 5 seconds and then switched off.

Answer
The pen battery is at 0-1% charge and has shut down. From the point the pen vibrated no data would have been collected by the pen. All data already stored in the pen is safe. Recharge the pen and finish completing the form once charging has completed.
