ALF mobile app times out

When we first login to the app on our iPhone and then try to submit data to the phone somewhat later, we receive this error: NSURLErrorDomain. We then have to log out and log back in to the app to be able to send the data.

This is caused by using a self-signed SSL certificate. You should apply a valid SSL certificate to the server and these issues will stop.
Wildcard certificates are generally more expensive, but offer greater freedom if you are creating multiple servers that will use the main domain. Google "cheap SSL certificates" - you only need the very basic options that are available from most providers.
